How Can I Prepare for My First Visit?

See Your Dentist!

We strongly encourage that you see your regular dentist for a cleaning and exam within the last 12 months. We will always see you for a consult! However, we will not begin orthodontic treatment if you have any active cavities, infections, gum disease or signs of poor oral hygiene habits. Brushing and flossing is always important, but it is even more important during orthodontic treatment to avoid any damage to your teeth.

Complete Your Patient Forms Prior to Your Visit.

You will receive a link from OrthoFi to create your account and complete all new patient and insurance information. Having this information prior to your arrival helps us prepare to answer any questions that may arise and make the most out of your appointment.

Review your Budget

Orthodontic treatment is an investment of your time and money. Our goal is to make treatment affordable for everyone. With most treatment plans averaging 18+ months, we are able to tailor flexible monthly payment plans over the course of your treatment. Having an idea of your budget prior to your first appointment allows us to come up with a payment plan that works specifically for your family. Therefore, we strongly encourage discussing this with your partner/spouse or financially responsible party prior to your visit with us to avoid uneccessary treatment delays.

*Please note that this video is only an example of how payment plans are built in our office and that treatment fees vary according to each patient’s specific treatment needs.
